MSIDC Superintending Engineer Recruitment 2026: Overview
Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (MSIDC), a Government of Maharashtra undertaking, is engaging retired Superintending Engineers on a re-appointment basis. The officers may be placed anywhere in Maharashtra and will support the corporation's technical work through an 11-month contractual engagement. This opportunity is designed for senior public-sector engineers who can bring long government-service experience into MSIDC's current assignments. It is a re-employment opportunity for retired officers, not an entry-level engineering drive.
The notice draws its applicant pool from officers who have retired from the State Government, Central Government, public-sector undertakings, government authorities or local bodies. Your background should show work at senior engineering levels and the ability to take responsibility for technical decisions in a government organisation. Because the role can involve assignments across the state, you should also be ready to work wherever MSIDC needs technical leadership.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Nature of engagement: The appointment is purely contractual and made on a re-appointment basis for 11 months.
- Governing terms: The engagement follows the Government of Maharashtra General Administration Department guidelines under GR No. CBE-1525/CR-37/EST(Desk-13).
- Course recognition: The required degree must be a full-time course from a government-recognised university.
- Fitness: You must be physically and mentally fit and capable of handling the work attached to this senior technical role.
- Shortlisting discretion: MSIDC may decide whom to call, change the stated criteria, postpone the exercise or cancel the process at any stage.
- Accuracy of claims: Your qualifications and service record must be supported by originals when called. A false, excessive or misleading claim can lead to disqualification and debarment from later MSIDC vacancies.
- Preference: Higher qualifications and broader relevant experience may strengthen your application, with achievements considered up to the closing date.
The corporation will examine the applications before contacting suitable officers. Being qualified does not automatically guarantee a call, because MSIDC retains discretion over shortlisting. Keep your original service and education records ready so the details in your form can be checked without delay.
Application Submission Notes
Use the prescribed MSIDC application form; an application written on plain paper or an incomplete form will not be considered. Send the complete set by post to Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, B/13, 13th Floor, Bakhtawar Building, Nariman Point, Mumbai – 400 021, and email the same application to cao@msidc.org.
Affix a recent passport-size photograph to the form and sign across the photograph. The notification asks for both postal and email submission, so prepare matching copies and keep proof that each was sent. Attach self-attested supporting records listed in the application, while keeping the originals ready for later checking. Forms that do not follow the prescribed format can be rejected without further processing.
