Posts and Disciplines

Post-wise Duties

Assistant Traffic Inspector

You will help monitor services on the ground, check whether vehicles and crews follow operational instructions, and send clear traffic reports to the responsible depot or section.

Traffic Controller

You will coordinate bus departures and arrivals, keep control records current, and communicate service changes or disruptions to crews and supervisors.

Assistant Store Keeper

You will support the receipt, storage and issue of mechanical material, match entries with physical stock, and help maintain traceable store records.

Assistant Data Entry Operator

You will enter and update office data, check records before saving them, and support the section with computer-based registers and reports.

Peon (MTS)

You will move files and correspondence, support routine office arrangements, and help different sections complete day-to-day support work.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Language knowledge: you need working knowledge of English, Hindi, Konkani and Marathi for these posts.
• Goa residence: a valid 15-year residence certificate issued by the competent authority is part of the application record.
• Government employees: applicants already working in government, local bodies, autonomous bodies or similar establishments must apply through the proper channel.
• Merit tie: an older candidate is placed higher when written marks are equal; if birth dates also match, the higher educational qualification decides the order.
• Travel costs: KTCL will not pay TA or DA for attending the written or computer test.
• Recruitment control: the corporation may cancel the process without giving a reason, and it will communicate test information through call letters, SMS and official web notices.

Application Submission Notes

The prescribed form is issued at the KTCL Head Office, Paraiso De Goa, Alto Porvorim, Bardez, Goa 403521, during office hours. A lunch break applies between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., so plan an in-person visit around that window.
