Anganwadi Worker

Your day begins with the pre-school session for the three-to-six-year-olds of the ward. On immunisation and health check-up days you work alongside the health staff, and you send a sick, badly undernourished or disabled child on to the nearest health facility. Anganwadi Helper

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Local residence: you have to actually live in the ward area served by the anganwadi centre you apply for, and the corporation accepts only one proof for it — the fixed-format certificate issued by the Mamlatdar's office through the Jan Seva Kendra.
