About This Job

Apply for APCRDA Digital Amaravati Intern roles. Engineering students or graduates. Up to Rs 25,000 monthly. Deadline: 10 weeks from website publication.

APCRDA Digital Amaravati Intern Recruitment 2026: Overview

Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) is offering the Digital Amaravati Internship programme for technology projects linked to the new capital. The programme focuses on building digital public services while the city is being developed, with projects covering citizen services, mobility, infrastructure and community systems. You will own a defined problem and produce a working prototype or data product with an APCRDA officer and a technical mentor.

Posts and Disciplines

  • Citizen services and government operations: Projects cover the Amaravati One service platform and wallet, an artificial intelligence (AI) citizen assistant, automated building-plan scrutiny, grievance routing, and property-revenue intelligence. These are different problem choices within the same internship programme.
  • Mobility: The programme includes smart parking, electric-vehicle charging networks and adaptive traffic systems. The proposed systems connect transport services, booking and payments, while supporting future mobility planning.
  • Infrastructure, utilities and environment: Project options include a city digital twin, smart water and energy systems, waste management, climate and flood resilience, and drone or robotics operations. They connect city data with planning and monitoring tools.
  • Safety, health and community: Other options cover privacy-focused camera analytics and emergency response, digital health and public-health surveillance, and citizen participation through open data. These are internship project themes, including technical work on public-health systems.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Track choice: The summer track runs for 8 to 10 weeks. The semester track lasts 16 to 24 weeks and supports final-year projects through a hybrid arrangement.
  • Project ownership: You can choose up to two problem statements in preference order and propose a variation. The notice scopes each problem so an intern can build a useful first version during the programme.
  • Mentoring: An APCRDA officer and a technical mentor support each intern. Related projects are grouped into small squads, with weekly reviews and demonstrations to senior management every fortnight.
  • Final output: The programme expects a prototype deployed in an APCRDA staging environment, a technical report and a final demonstration to the Commissioner. Your work should leave the authority with an output it can take forward.
  • Ownership and portfolios: APCRDA owns the work produced during the internship and aims to release it as open source or open data where possible. You may showcase the work in your portfolio and publications.
  • Recognition: The notice provides for pre-placement offers to the Digital Cell for top performers, alongside recommendation letters and authorship credit on published work. This provision applies to top performers and does not promise an offer to every intern.
  • Programme changes: Internship requirements can change with APCRDA's needs. The authority may shortlist applicants, change the programme or cancel the notification.

Responsibilities

  • Build a working prototype or data product for your chosen Amaravati problem statement.
  • Work with the assigned APCRDA officer and technical mentor.
  • Present progress during weekly reviews and fortnightly demonstrations.
  • Deploy the prototype in an APCRDA staging environment.
  • Prepare a technical report explaining your project output.
  • Demonstrate the completed work to the Commissioner.
