Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital (RGSSH) is recruiting Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and a Deputy Medical Superintendent at its Tahirpur campus in Delhi. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: The initial appointment is for five years. Satisfactory work and conduct, assessed by the Director as head of department, are part of the appointment conditions.
• Extension: Further continuation depends on your annual performance appraisal and the hospital’s Memorandum of Association. You should not treat the initial appointment as a promise of an automatic extension.
• Employment status: This contract does not carry pension benefits. It also gives you no right to claim a regular appointment against the post.
• Full-time engagement: You must work on a full-time basis. Private practice of any kind is prohibited.
• Hospital rules: Service is governed by the hospital society’s governing provisions and rules. Once appointed, you must follow policies that apply across the hospital.
• Disability reservation: The notice provides horizontal reservation for persons with disabilities. Post suitability remains subject to the relevant government guidelines.
• Unfilled reserved posts: If a reserved seat remains unfilled, the hospital may make an unreserved appointment on an ad hoc basis for three months or until the next regular recruitment, whichever comes first.
• Travel costs: RGSSH will not pay travelling or daily allowance for attending the interview. You need to make your own travel arrangements.
• Accuracy and conduct: False declarations or deliberate concealment can lead to termination. Canvassing or attempts to influence the appointment can disqualify you.
• Recruitment changes: The hospital may correct errors, change the advertised vacancies, withdraw all or part of the process, or reject applications. The Governing Council Chairman’s decision on selection is final.
• Disputes: Any legal dispute relating to the appointment falls within Delhi jurisdiction.
