Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The initial project term is one year. Extension depends on your performance and the continuing needs of the project.
• Contract agreement: The selected person must sign a project contract with the principal investigator when joining.
• Termination: Either side may end the contract with one month's notice or one month's consolidated pay instead of notice.
• Shortlisting: IIT Roorkee will call only shortlisted applicants for the interview.
• Candidate preference: SC/ST candidates receive preference when qualifications and experience are equal.
• Interview travel: The institute will not provide TA or DA for attending the interview.
