Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu) is building a small project team in its Department of Electrical Engineering for the roles of Research Associate and Project Assistant. The team will work on a CoreEL Technologies-supported project that aims to create a bare-metal artificial-intelligence software framework for real-time image-based object detection in mission-critical defence platforms. This is contractual research work tied to the project rather than a regular institute appointment.

Post-wise Duties

Research Associate

Project Assistant

You will support software development, testing and data handling for the imaging framework. The role is suited to practical implementation work and, for an eligible final-year postgraduate student, may connect with dissertation activity at IIT Jammu.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: Both engagements are co-terminus with the sponsored project and cannot continue beyond the notified project period.
• Shortlisting: Meeting the qualification alone does not guarantee an interview. IIT Jammu may shortlist applicants on merit and the project's current needs.
