Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: The initial appointment is for three years. Renewal follows the terms of your offer and includes a performance review, so continued engagement depends on those conditions.
• Nature of appointment: The contract does not create a right to a regular institute appointment, absorption or continued service. You should treat the offer as a time-bound engagement governed by the applicable institutional policies.
• Team arrangements: TEJAS expects an integrated team with overlapping work where needed. Your role may therefore involve shared activities that help founders have a consistent point of contact across the programme.
• Working week: Normal hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on six days a week, with Sunday off. The institute may change these hours when its work needs change.
• Work outside usual hours: You may need to work beyond office hours or on holidays when work demands it. The notice does not provide extra payment for that additional time.
• Housing and leave: Campus accommodation is not provided. Leave and other employment conditions follow the applicable institutional policies.
• Joining: You must take up duties within the period stated in the offer. If you do not, the institute may withdraw the appointment.
• Recruitment decisions: The institute may change or cancel the recruitment, leave posts unfilled, or correct an error found during the process. This power also covers communications already issued to applicants.
• Conduct and disputes: Canvassing can disqualify your application. Any legal dispute concerning the recruitment falls within Mumbai jurisdiction.

• Lead student and founder outreach and build the TEJAS community.
• Handle applicant communication and guide founders during their initial engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with mentors, experts and ecosystem partners.
• Coordinate workshops, innovation challenges, masterclasses and networking events.
• Connect founders with mentors, corporate partners, investors and relevant opportunities.
• Support startup screening and keep founder, mentor and engagement records.
• Manage community communication, social media outreach and participation tracking.
• Assist the Head or CEO with institutional engagement, corporate relationships and external events.
