Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Super Specialty Hospital, Sanathnagar is recruiting Professors, an Associate Professor, Assistant Professors and Senior Residents for its super-specialty services in Hyderabad. Posts and Disciplines

• Neuro-Surgery and Nephrology: Professor roles leading specialist clinical services, guiding teams and supporting academic work in the respective departments.
• Neurology: Professor and Associate Professor roles combining advanced patient care, supervision, teaching and departmental planning.
• Cardiology and Radiology: Senior Resident roles supporting daily specialist care, procedures, investigations, reporting and emergency coverage.
• Anaesthesia with Surgical Super Specialties: Assistant Professor work centred on peri-operative planning, teaching and anaesthesia support for complex surgical services.
• Anaesthesia: Senior Residents will support operation theatres, pre-anaesthetic assessment, recovery, pain care and critical clinical coverage.

Post-wise Duties

Professor

You will lead specialist patient care, clinical teaching and departmental supervision in the notified discipline. The role also involves guiding junior doctors, reviewing complex cases, supporting service planning and maintaining standards required for a teaching hospital.

Associate Professor

You will combine independent clinical work with teaching and team supervision. You may coordinate unit activity, mentor residents, take part in research and help the department deliver safe, timely specialist services.

Assistant Professor

You will provide specialist anaesthesia care and structured clinical teaching while working with surgical super-specialty teams. Day-to-day work can include patient assessment, procedure planning, operation-theatre coverage and supervision of residents.

Senior Resident

You will manage assigned wards, procedures, investigations and emergency duties under the department's roster. The hospital may move a super-specialty resident to an allied general department when patient-care needs require it, so you should be ready for coordinated cross-department work.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: Faculty engagement starts for one year and may be extended annually up to three years, subject to performance, conduct, need, the arrival of a regular appointee and the applicable age ceiling.
• Residency limit: Senior Resident engagement also starts for one year and may extend within the permitted three-year residency period. Previous government senior-residency service counts toward that limit.
• Anticipated seats: Posts marked as anticipated can be filled only after they arise. All positions are provisional and may change with patient-care and regulatory needs.
• Professional conditions: Private practice is not allowed. Selected faculty need professional indemnity cover, while all selected candidates must complete the prescribed agreement and refundable security-deposit formalities.
• Work rules: Daily attendance is recorded through the prescribed systems, and prolonged unauthorised absence can end the engagement. No hostel or residential quarters are provided.
• Interview expenses: ESIC will not pay TA or DA for attending the walk-in or joining the post.
