CMHO Dhamtari Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dhamtari (CMHO Dhamtari) is holding a multi-day walk-in drive for clinical, nursing, community-health, diagnostic and office-support roles under the District Health Society and National Health Mission. These are contractual programme posts based in Dhamtari district, with separate reporting days for different post groups. Your post name matters when you attend, because the registration and assessment schedule is not the same for every role.
The drive brings several public-health services into one notice, including maternal care, urban health and wellness centres, child-health units, geriatric and palliative care, disease surveillance, mental health and dental support. That breadth makes it useful for applicants from nursing, AYUSH, paramedical, physiotherapy, psychology and computer-support backgrounds. You should match your qualification and professional registration to the exact row for your chosen post before travelling to the venue.
Posts and Disciplines
- Community and maternal health: 2nd ANM, male Multipurpose Worker and Community Health Officer roles support field services, outreach and Health and Wellness Centre work.
- Nursing services: Nursing Officer and Staff Nurse positions are attached to NHM, NBSU, paediatric wards, CCU, NRC, SNCU, UHWC and geriatric or palliative-care programmes.
- AYUSH services: Medical Officer posts cover RBSK and general NHM programme requirements, with the relevant AYUSH degree and council registration.
- Diagnostics and rehabilitation: Laboratory Technician, Radiographer, Physiotherapist and Clinical Psychologist roles support testing, imaging, recovery and mental-health services.
- Dental and programme support: Dental Assistant and Secretarial Assistant posts provide chair-side, records, computer and office coordination support.
Post-wise Duties
Nursing and Community Health Roles
You will support patient care, immunisation, maternal and child health, community follow-up and facility records according to the programme or unit where you are placed. Critical-care and newborn-unit posts involve closer monitoring and careful shift handovers.
Medical, Diagnostic and Therapy Roles
You will provide the service linked to your professional qualification, such as AYUSH consultation, laboratory testing, radiography, physiotherapy or psychological assessment. Accurate registers, safe handling of equipment and timely reporting to the programme team are central to these roles.
Dental and Secretarial Support
You will help with dental-chair preparation, patient support, data entry, correspondence and programme files, depending on the post. The office-support role needs careful computer work and reliable record organisation.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Local eligibility: you must be a resident of Chhattisgarh and attach a residence certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Employment registration: a live registration with the district employment office is mandatory.
- Professional registration: nursing, AYUSH, paramedical, physiotherapy and rehabilitation-council registration applies where the post requires it.
- Contract status: appointments are temporary, contractual and non-transferable; extension depends on satisfactory work and programme approval.
- Travel: no travel allowance is paid for attending the recruitment process.
- Original records: bring original certificates for checking during the assessment and document-verification stage.
Application Submission Notes
Attend in person at the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh on the reporting day assigned to your post. Registration runs during the morning window shown in the official schedule; postal, speed-post and other remote submissions are not accepted.
Use a separate application for each post if you want to be considered for more than one role. Arrange the form and self-attested records in the order stated in the notice, and carry the originals with you for checking.
