Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Hospital Resident Doctor Recruitment 2026 - 19 Posts
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), under the Department of Atomic Energy, runs a multi-disciplinary 390-bed hospital in Mumbai for the employees, retirees and their families of the Department. The hospital is recognised by the National Board of Examinations for DNB seats in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Anesthesia, ENT, Pathology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatry and Orthopedics, and it has signed MOUs with leading city hospitals for rotational postings and shared faculty. It is now filling 19 resident doctor posts - 12 Post Graduate Resident Medical Officer (PGRMO) / Senior Resident (PG) posts on a 3-year tenure and 7 Non-DNB Junior/Senior Resident posts for one year. There is no written exam - selection is through a walk-in interview, which makes this a quick and direct way to join a well-equipped government hospital in Mumbai.
This is a good opening if you have recently finished your MBBS or post-graduation and want hands-on clinical work with a strong monthly pay. The 3-year PGRMO posts give you a stable tenure with a pay that rises each year, while the one-year Non-DNB posts are ideal for doctors looking to build experience before their next step. All posts are on a purely contract basis at the BARC Hospital campus in Anushaktinagar.
