AIIMS Nagpur Panchakarma Technician Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Nagpur is recruiting a female Panchakarma Technician as Project Technical Support I in its Department of Anatomy. The role belongs to the ICMR-AYUSH funded CATCH Trial, which studies comprehensive Ayurvedic treatment alongside conventional treatment for people with unresectable head and neck cancer. This is a project contract connected to the trial's work at Nagpur.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: Your engagement is temporary and ends with the project. It does not give you a right to permanent absorption at AIIMS Nagpur or the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), or to continued contract employment.
• Initial tenure: The appointment may initially last 11 months. A further renewal of up to 11 months depends on satisfactory performance, available project funds and mutual agreement.
• Contract expiry: The contract ends automatically when its agreed period finishes unless it is renewed. Either side can end it earlier with 30 days' notice or salary in place of notice.
• Leave and accommodation: Leave follows the applicable ICMR/NHM policy for extramural or short-term research projects. The institute and principal investigator will not provide hostel space or other accommodation.
• Travel: You will not receive TA/DA for attending the interview. Plan your travel and stay with this condition in mind.
• Updates: Recruitment updates, results and joining information will appear on the institute website. Individual messages may not be sent, so you need to keep track of updates yourself.
• Conduct: Canvassing leads to disqualification. False declarations or hiding material information can lead to removal from service and further action by the appointing authority.
• Authority's decision: The competent authority can amend or cancel the advertisement, in whole or in part, without advance notice. Its selection decision is final, and disputes fall under the courts at Nagpur.

Application Submission Notes

The walk-in venue is the Seminar Room, Department of Anatomy, Ground Floor, College Building, AIIMS Nagpur, MIHAN, Nagpur. Use the prescribed application format attached to the notice; incomplete forms or forms outside that format will not be considered.

Reporting begins at 1:30 PM and closes strictly at 2:00 PM; interviews start at 3:00 PM. If you arrive after the reporting deadline, you cannot take part in the walk-in.

• Assist with Panchakarma procedures for the CATCH Trial.
• Carry out procedure-related work under an Ayurvedic clinician’s guidance.
• Support Panchakarma work involving cancer patients in the project.
• Keep records of project-related work.
• Assist the principal investigator with the trial’s Panchakarma and record-keeping tasks.
