All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal Project Research Scientist Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

AIIMS Bhopal has released an advertisement (No. AIIMS/BPL/CFM/DD/ECD IR/04) to fill 4 Project Research Scientist posts under the ICMR-funded project "Survive to Thrive - Implementation Research to Improve Developmental Outcomes of Disadvantaged Children in Urban, Rural and Tribal Areas of Madhya Pradesh". The project is run by the Department of Community & Family Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal. There is no written test — candidates are shortlisted directly for a walk-in interview based on their qualifications and experience. These are contractual, project-based positions.

As the project title suggests, the study is a mixed-methods intervention research that looks at how to improve early childhood development among disadvantaged children living in the urban, rural and tribal parts of Madhya Pradesh. If selected, you will work as part of a research team that combines clinical assessment with field-level data collection, so the project needs a mix of medical professionals and non-medical researchers (engineering, IT and computer science backgrounds) to handle data management and analysis. Your application will also be assessed on your research output — the application form specifically asks for the number of publications and indexed-journal papers you have to your name, so make sure this information is ready before the interview.
