About This Job

AIASL Deputy Chief Financial Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview
AI Airport Services Limited (AIASL), earlier called Air India Air Transport Services Limited, is hiring a Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Dy.CFO) for its headquarters in New Delhi. AIASL is a subsidiary of AI Assets Holding Ltd, a central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and it runs airport ground handling and cargo services across India. The job comes under advertisement Ref. No. AIASL/05-03/418.
This is a fixed-term contract, not a permanent PSU cadre post. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and run the finance and accounts function within the powers the CFO delegates to you. AIASL has advertised the CFO post at the same time, so the two roles will likely form the new top finance team of the company.
The post suits a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant who has already led a finance team, whether in a PSU, a government body or a large private company. Experience in aviation, airport services or any big multi-location service business counts in your favour, and so does exposure to CAG audits and DPE guidelines.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract term: The first contract runs for two years and can be extended by one more year if your performance is good and the Competent Authority approves.
- Pay rise each year: The move to the second-year pay and any third-year extension depend on satisfactory performance.
- All-inclusive pay: The monthly amount is consolidated, meaning it already includes all allowances. Tax and your statutory contributions are deducted from it. Outstation allowance is paid only for authorised official travel.
- Upper cap on service: The contract cannot continue after you turn 65, even if the extension is otherwise due.
- Early exit: AIASL can end the contract before it expires for poor performance, misconduct or organisational needs.
- Unreserved post: The seat is unreserved (UR). SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates can apply, but they must meet the same eligibility as everyone else.
- Membership must stay valid: Your ICAI or ICMAI membership must be active on the closing date and throughout the contract.
- Experience counting: Only experience gained after you became a CA or CMA is counted. PSU candidates need managerial experience at E-5 level or above (or equivalent).
- Former AIASL staff: If AIASL earlier ended your contract for disciplinary, integrity or misconduct reasons, you cannot apply. All former staff must disclose their past engagement in the form.
- Working in government or a PSU: You can send an advance application, but you must bring a No Objection Certificate to the interview.
- No travel allowance: No TA/DA is paid for the interview or the medical check.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal dispute goes only to the courts at Delhi.
