The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), part of Tata Memorial Centre, is hiring a Technician - Radio Diagnosis on a 6-month outsourced contract at its Kharghar campus in Navi Mumbai. If you have a B.Sc in Radiological Imaging Technology or an equivalent diploma with internship, you can walk in directly for the interview. The walk-in interview is on Monday, 31 August 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The consolidated salary is Rs. 26,210 to Rs. 35,000 per month, based on your experience.

ACTREC Technician - Radio Diagnosis Walk-In Recruitment 2026

ACTREC has released a walk-in interview notice (Advt No. OS-A/101/2026) for the post of Technician - Radio Diagnosis on an outsourced contract basis through A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt. Ltd. The selected candidate will work at Tata Memorial Centre - ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, and will get the opportunity to handle advanced imaging equipment including 128/256-slice CT, 1.5T/3.0T MRI, and Biplane DSA systems. This is a strong opportunity for radiology technicians who want hands-on experience with cutting-edge imaging technology at a premier cancer research institute.

Who Can Apply?

  • Qualification: B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Technology from a recognized university, OR B.Sc. in any subject plus a 2-year Advanced Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology (ADMIT) plus 1-year internship, OR B.Sc. in any subject plus a 2-year Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology plus 1-year internship.
  • Mandatory Skill: You must be able to independently perform X-ray, CT, MRI, DEXA, OPG and fluoroscopy examinations, and be willing to work across different imaging modalities as per departmental requirements.
  • Desirable: Experience in Mammography or Interventional Radiology (IR) will be an added advantage.

Age Limit

  • You should be up to 30 years old.
  • Age Relaxation: Age may be relaxed for candidates with relevant experience.

Salary

  • Selected candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 26,210 to Rs. 35,000 per month, based on your experience over and above the eligibility criteria.
  • This is a contract position for 6 months, extendable as per requirement.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a direct walk-in interview. There is no written exam for this post.

Responsibilities

  • Perform X-ray, CT, MRI, DEXA, OPG and fluoroscopy examinations independently
  • Operate advanced imaging systems including 128/256-slice CT and 1.5T/3.0T MRI scanners
  • Support interventional radiology procedures on Biplane DSA systems
  • Maintain accurate imaging records and patient documentation
  • Follow radiation safety protocols during all imaging procedures
  • Work across different imaging modalities as per department needs
  • Assist radiologists during mammography and diagnostic imaging sessions
