Posts and Disciplines

• PGT Economics: senior-secondary teaching in economics, with the subject studied at graduation level as well as at postgraduate level.
• PGT Commerce: commerce teaching for higher classes; M.Com. in Applied or Business Economics does not meet the subject condition.
• PGT Political Science: senior-secondary lessons in political theory, civics and related syllabus areas.
• PGT Sociology: higher-class teaching in sociology with a suitable subject background through graduation and postgraduation.
• TGT Science: middle-school science teaching built around the required biology, life-science, botany or zoology combination.
• TGT English: language and literature teaching for students studying through a bilingual school environment.
• TGT Social Science: integrated teaching across history, geography, economics and political science, subject to the prescribed graduation combination.

Post-wise Duties

PGT duties

You will plan senior-secondary lessons, explain advanced concepts, assess written work and help learners prepare for board-level study. The role also involves keeping subject records and progress notes, supporting academic activities and working with colleagues on a consistent teaching plan. Residential-school experience is useful because student support may extend beyond a normal classroom timetable.

TGT duties

You will teach foundation and middle-school concepts, prepare bilingual classroom material and track whether each learner is keeping pace. You will also contribute to school activities, student mentoring and routine academic records. The school expects you to teach confidently through both Hindi and English media.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of engagement: the appointment is as guest faculty on a temporary basis and does not create a claim to a regular teaching post.
• Panel system: academic record, higher qualification, achievements, relevant school experience and personal interaction are considered while forming the panel.
• Medium of teaching: you need practical proficiency in both Hindi and English classroom teaching.
• Teacher eligibility: the TGT roles need a valid Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET Paper-II qualification in addition to the academic route.
