UPESSC Principal Recruitment 2026: Overview

Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is recruiting Principals (प्रधानाचार्य) for aided Intermediate Colleges in Uttar Pradesh under Advertisement No. 08/2026. A Principal is the head of an inter college that teaches up to Class 12, so this drive is for educators who are ready to run a whole institution, not just a classroom. The commission opened this drive on the same day as its Headmaster (High School) recruitment under Advertisement No. 09/2026.

The whole process runs through the commission's One Time Registration (OTR) system on apply.upessc.org. You create one permanent profile and use the same OTR ID for every UPESSC examination, so if you already applied for an earlier UPESSC exam, you do not need to register again.

• New to UPESSC: Create your OTR ID on apply.upessc.org first; the Principal application opens from your profile.
• Already registered: Sign in with your OTR ID, mobile number or email address, using either your password or a one-time code, and choose the Principal, Intermediate College (Adv. No. 08/2026) examination.
• Keep your login private: The commission says no one from UPESSC will ever ask for your password or code.
