The Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission (TNSRLM), under the District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) of Tiruchirappalli, has released a notice to fill 117 vacant Community Bank Coordinator posts. Out of 230 sanctioned posts across 14 blocks, 113 are already filled, leaving 117 posts open. Only women candidates who are active SHG members can apply. This is a strong opportunity for women in rural Trichy to support community banking close to home.

Who Can Apply?

• Gender: Only women candidates can apply.
• Qualification: You must have passed 12th Class with good reading and writing skills in Tamil and English plus basic arithmetic. In hilly areas, if no 12th pass candidate is available, 10th pass candidates may be considered with the District Collector's special permission.
• SHG Membership: You must be a member of a panchayat-level women's Self Help Group federation.
• Experience: You must have worked as an SHG animator (Ootkunar) for at least 2 years.
• Residence: You must live in the block where you will work.
• Target group: You should belong to the target population identified by the People's Status (poverty) survey.
• Other: You must have good communication skills and prior experience visiting banks and handling loan applications. Candidates with computer skills and a two-wheeler driving licence will get preference. You should own an Android phone and know how to send SMS and WhatsApp messages.

You must not be a full-time worker in any community-based organisation or private company, and you cannot be a member of an SHG that has loan defaults. In tribal hilly areas, if no eligible woman is available, a male member may be selected with the District Collector's special approval.

Age Limit

• You must be below 35 years of age on the date of application.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will be selected based on:

1. Written Test: A written exam to check your basic skills.
2. Interview: A face-to-face interview where your weightage marks are added to decide the final list.

2. Attach self-attested photocopies of your date of birth proof, qualification certificate, work experience certificate, and community certificate.
3. Fill in all details correctly — incomplete applications will be rejected.
4. Submit the printed application with documents by post or in person to the Project Director / Joint Director, TNSRLM, District Mission Management Unit, Collectorate, Tiruchirappalli - 620001.
5. Your application must reach the office by 5.00 PM on 29 May 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
