Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) has released an advertisement for 2 Assistant Professor (Contractual) posts at the Directorate of Incubation and Vocational Training in Aquaculture (DIVA), Muttukadu, Chennai. There is no written exam — selection is based on interview only. The posts are purely temporary and candidates with M.F.Sc in Aquaculture, Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology, or Aquatic Animal Health Management are preferred.

Who Can Apply?

Minimum Qualification

• M.F.Sc (Master of Fisheries Science)

Preferred Disciplines

• Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology
• Aquatic Animal Health Management

Candidates with NET qualification or Ph.D in the preferred disciplines will get higher salary as detailed below.

Salary (Monthly Emoluments)

• M.F.Sc only: Rs. 35,000 per month
• M.F.Sc with NET: Rs. 40,000 per month
• M.F.Sc with Ph.D: Rs. 45,000 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Shortlisting: Based on the CV and supporting documents submitted by email
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at TNJFU on getting the call letter
3. Document Verification: Originals must be produced at the time of interview

Candidates must attend the interview at their own cost. No TA / DA will be paid.
