Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai has released an advertisement (Advt No. OS/TMH/43/2026, dated 27 July 2026) for the outsourced post of Echo Technician, to be deployed at Tata Memorial Hospital through the outsourcing agency A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt Ltd. Tata Memorial Centre is a Grant-in-Aid Institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and is one of the country's leading cancer treatment and research hospitals. An Echo Technician plays an important role here, supporting the cardiology and diagnostics teams by conducting echocardiography scans that help doctors assess a patient's heart health before and during cancer treatment — this is especially important because some chemotherapy drugs can affect heart function, so regular echo monitoring is a routine part of patient care at a cancer hospital. An echocardiogram uses ultrasound imaging to check how well the heart's chambers and valves are working, and it is a key diagnostic tool used across the hospital's oncology, surgery and critical care departments. This is a walk-in interview — you don't need to fill any online form, just show up with your documents on the scheduled date. If a large number of candidates attend, an MCQ test will be conducted first to shortlist candidates for the interview.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a B.Sc degree in Physics, Microbiology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany or Chemistry. The hospital accepts candidates from any of these science streams as long as you also meet the experience requirement below.
• Experience: You must have completed a certified training course in Echo Cardiography with 2 years of experience, OR worked as an Echo Technician in a large centre for at least 3 years.
• Candidates with hands-on experience handling echo machines in a busy hospital or diagnostic centre will have an advantage during the interview.
• This role suits candidates already working as Echo Technicians or Cardiac Lab Technicians who want to build their career at a nationally recognised institution.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 30 years old.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 40,000 per month, paid on a consolidated basis as part of the outsourced contract.
• This engagement is managed by A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt Ltd, an outsourcing agency that supplies manpower services to Tata Memorial Hospital on a contract basis, so your appointment letter and pay will come through the agency rather than directly from the hospital.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a walk-in interview:

1. MCQ Test (if needed): If a large number of candidates attend, a short MCQ test will be conducted to shortlist candidates.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on the spot by the HR team.

Since this is a same-day walk-in process, you should reach well before the interview window closes and keep all your original and photocopy documents ready for quick verification.
