The Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank Limited (TGCAB), a State Government partnered Scheduled Bank headquartered at Troop Bazar, Hyderabad, has issued notification ref. TGCAB/HRMD/F.No.CF/518 dated 11 May 2026 for filling up the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Khammam DCCB. Selection will follow the Fit and Proper Criteria prescribed by RBI/NABARD. The appointment is for a minimum period of 3 years on deputation/contract basis. Proficiency in Telugu is essential.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification (any one)

• Graduate with CAIIB / DBF / Diploma in Cooperative Business Management or equivalent qualifications, OR
• Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant, OR
• Post Graduate in any discipline.

Experience

• You must have at least 8 years of work experience at the Middle/Senior level in the Banking Sector.
• Documentary evidence of working at Middle/Senior level for the required period must be enclosed.

Language and Other Conditions

• Proficiency in Telugu is essential.
• Candidates working in other banks should apply through proper channel (advance copies accepted before last date).
• Resigned/voluntarily retired candidates must submit relieving certificate along with the application.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 62 years as on the date of appointment.
• There is no minimum age mentioned, but you must have the required experience.

Salary

• For CEOs selected from outside Apex Bank/DCCBs: Rs. 2,60,000 per month (consolidated), subject to applicable tax and statutory deductions.
• For in-service candidates from Apex Bank or any DCCB: pay protection with a CEO Allowance @ 15% of (Basic Pay + DA) drawn in the existing cadre.
• Leave rules, perks and allowances as per guidelines for CEOs of DCCBs.

• Mode of payment: Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of TGCAB, Hyderabad.

Selection Process

Selection is based on the Fit and Proper Criteria prescribed by RBI/NABARD:

1. Application Screening: Applications not complying with Age, Qualifications, Experience or employer recommendations will be summarily rejected.
2. Document Verification: Self-attested copies of proof of date of birth, qualifications, experience and other credentials are verified.
3. Interview / Final Selection: Conducted by the competent authority following RBI/NABARD Fit & Proper norms.

There is no written exam for this post.

• Lead the overall operations and management of Khammam District Co-operative Central Bank
• Ensure compliance with RBI, NABARD and TGCAB regulatory directions
• Manage credit operations, recovery, and asset quality of the DCCB
• Oversee branch performance, deposit mobilisation and lending to PACS and farmers
• Direct human resource, audit and risk management functions of the bank
• Implement government cooperative banking schemes in Khammam district
• Report periodically to the Board of Directors and apex bank management
• Drive digital banking adoption and customer service improvements
