About This Opportunity

If you have hands-on experience in telecom security and IoT security, this is a rare chance to work at the intersection of national cybersecurity and telecommunications. Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), a Miniratna PSU under the Government of India, is looking for a Cyber Crime Researcher to join an MHA-backed project focused on investigating how cyber criminals exploit vulnerabilities in telecom networks and IoT devices.

Your role will involve researching loopholes used by cyber criminals in the telecom sector, analyzing various modus operandi, and providing both technical and policy-level recommendations to strengthen India's telecom and IoT security infrastructure. You will be working closely with MHA officials and following government working hours at MHA offices.

Selection Process

Selection will be through a Preliminary Skill Test designed to evaluate your technical expertise in telecom and IoT security. TCIL and MHA reserve the right to modify the selection procedure or shortlist candidates, so meeting the eligibility criteria alone does not guarantee a call for the test. Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

B.E/B.Tech (CS/CE/IT/Electronics/ECE/E&TC) or MCA or MBA with First Division or 60% marks from a recognized University

Preferred Qualification

Certification in Cyber Security, Security Operations Center (SOC), or Incident Response. Understanding of telecom infrastructure (4G, 5G), IoT, SIM Box, and VoIP.

Pay Scale

Allowances

12 days casual leave per calendar year (proportionate). Gazetted Central Government holidays. TA/DA only for official MHA deputation duty. No HRA, no accommodation, no medical coverage.
