The State AYUSH Society – Tamil Nadu, functioning under TAMPCOL, has released a notification to fill 10 posts under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM) at its Chennai office. The posts cover managerial, technical and IT support roles that help the state government run its AYUSH health programmes across districts. There is no written exam for any of these posts — selection is through interview and skill test only. If you hold a degree in healthcare management, AYUSH, computer science or a related field, this is a good opportunity to work directly with a state government health mission.

Who Can Apply?

For Programme Manager (1 post):

• You need a Graduation degree in any discipline (including AYUSH) plus an MBA in Healthcare/Hospital Management or HR, or a Master's in Health/Hospital Administration, or a 2-year PG Diploma in Hospital & Healthcare Management from an AICTE-recognised institute.
• You must have at least 5 years of working experience in public health programmes with the government, a PSU, or a reputed private organisation.
• Computer knowledge (MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is desirable. Preference is given to candidates with AYUSH sector experience.

For Consultant (1 post):

• You need a Bachelor's degree in BSMS, BNYS, BAMS, BUMS or BHMS from a recognised university.
• You must have at least 3 years of working experience in public health programmes of the government, a PSU, or a reputed private organisation.
• A PG qualification in an AYUSH stream is preferred.

For IT Assistant (4 posts):

• You need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or IT, or a BCA, or a Diploma in Computer Engineering/IT with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Around 1 year of relevant experience in data entry, MS Office, e-governance applications or IT support is preferred.
• Knowledge of English and Tamil typing is an added advantage.

For Account Manager, Data Entry Operator and System Analyst (4 posts):

Age Limit

• The maximum age for the Consultant and IT Assistant posts is 50 years as on the date of notification.
• Age limits for the Programme Manager, Account Manager, Data Entry Operator and System Analyst posts are specified in their respective notification PDFs.

Salary

• The Consultant post carries a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000 per month.
• The IT Assistant post carries a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20,000 per month.
• Pay for the Programme Manager, Account Manager, Data Entry Operator and System Analyst posts is mentioned in their respective notification PDFs.
• An annual enhancement may be considered based on performance and availability of funds. No other allowances are admissible.

Selection Process

Selection for these posts will be done in the following stages:

1. Scrutiny and Shortlisting of Applications
2. Personal Interview
3. Practical Test/Skill Test, if considered necessary by the Selection Committee

There is no written exam for these posts. The decision of the Selection Committee is final and binding.

• Support planning, implementation and monitoring of National AYUSH Mission activities in Tamil Nadu
• Coordinate with the State Programme Management Unit and District Programme Management Units
• Prepare State Annual Action Plans and progress reports for the mission
• Maintain accounts, data records and MIS reports related to the scheme
• Provide IT support, maintain computer systems and troubleshoot technical issues
• Update the NAM portal and other e-governance applications with programme data
• Assist in training programmes, field visits and public health outreach activities under the mission
