Sardar Patel University (SPU), Vallabh Vidyanagar, has released Employment Notification No. B/S/2/993 dated 14 May 2026 for Professor and Associate Professor posts. The notification covers teaching vacancies from Advertisement Est-20-2026 to Est-45-2026 across science, humanities, languages, management, pharmaceutical science, commerce, and education departments. This is one combined faculty listing because the official PDF contains both active post groups under the same application window.

Who Can Apply?

Professor - Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences and Languages

• You need a Ph.D. in the concerned or allied discipline.
• You need at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• You need a total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations 2018.
• You need at least 10 years of teaching or research experience and evidence of guiding a doctoral candidate, or you must qualify as an outstanding professional with Ph.D. and 10 years of experience.

Associate Professor - General Disciplines

• You need a Ph.D. in the concerned or relevant discipline.
• You need a Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• You need at least 8 years teaching or research experience.
• You need at least 7 publications and a research score of 75 as per UGC Regulations 2018.

MBA, Pharmaceutical Science and Education Posts

• MBA posts: The notice asks for Ph.D. in Management, first class or equivalent at bachelor's or master's level, publication criteria, and the required teaching/research/industry experience by post.
• Pharmaceutical Science Professor: The notice includes B.Pharm, pharmacist registration, Ph.D./first class pharmacy qualification, research score, and experience conditions.
• Education Associate Professor: The notice requires relevant postgraduate qualification, M.Ed. or education degree route, Ph.D. in Education, and the required experience.

Selection Process (No Written Exam Mentioned)

The notification does not mention a written exam. The university will screen applications using the eligibility conditions, documents, research score, experience, and higher qualifications where needed.
