The notice covers 3 Trainee Analyst (Chemistry) posts and 2 Trainee Analyst (Microbiology) posts in one combined walk-in test. This opportunity is exclusively for SC/ST candidates. Spices Board Trainee Analyst Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

Spices Board, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, has released Notification No. 01/2026 for trainee selection in the Quality Evaluation Laboratory at Kandla. The trainees will work in quality evaluation of spices and spice products. A panel will also be prepared for future trainee requirements, and the rank list will remain valid for two years from publication.

This is a training opportunity, not a regular government appointment. The notification clearly says that selection as a Trainee Analyst is only training and cannot be linked with regular appointment or regularisation at any stage. If you have already undergone training in any Spices Board office, you are not eligible to apply again.

The same PDF contains both Chemistry and Microbiology trainee posts, so this listing combines both posts in one place. Do not look for a separate notification for each discipline. The test date is the same, 15 July 2026, but the reporting/test time is different for each discipline.

Vacancy Details

Post NameVacanciesQualification
Trainee Analyst (Chemistry)3B.Sc with Chemistry as one main subject or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
Trainee Analyst (Microbiology)2Bachelor's degree in Microbiology

Category: The notification is exclusively for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. The number of trainees is provisional and may change at the time of selection.

The vacancy split matters because the qualification is different for each post. Chemistry applicants should show a Chemistry degree background, while Microbiology applicants should show a Microbiology degree background. Carry documents that clearly match the trainee post you are attending the test for.
