SGGU Commerce, Management, Law Faculty Walk-in 2026

Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU) is hiring ad-hoc faculty for its Commerce, Management and Law departments through a walk-in interview. If you hold a postgraduate degree with NET/SET, or a Ph.D., meeting the minimum qualification prescribed under UGC Regulations 2018, you can walk in for the interview. The walk-in interview is on 22 July 2026. Selected candidates will get a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 40,000 for an ad-hoc term of 11 months.

Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU), Godhra, a Gujarat state university established under Gujarat Act No. 24/2015, has released detailed instructions for a walk-in interview to fill ad-hoc teaching positions in its Commerce, Management and Law departments. No online application is needed — you simply need to bring your documents and attend the interview in person on the scheduled date. This is a good opportunity for postgraduates, and NET/SET/Ph.D. holders in Commerce, Management or Law, who want a teaching assignment at a Gujarat state university.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must meet the minimum teaching qualification prescribed under UGC Regulations, 2018, and the prevailing rules of the Gujarat Government and Shri Govind Guru University for Commerce, Management, or Law faculty positions.
• Departments: Positions are open in the Commerce, Management and Law departments of the university.
• Note: This notice covers ad-hoc positions only, and does not guarantee any regular or future permanent appointment.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 40,000 for the ad-hoc teaching assignment.
• The engagement is purely temporary/ad-hoc for 11 months, subject to renewal or future decisions by the university.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

There is no written exam. Selection is based on:

1. Document Verification: Bring your completely filled application form, original certificates, and self-attested copies for verification at the time of the interview.
2. Walk-in Interview: A selection committee will interview you in person on the scheduled date.

No TA/DA or any other expense will be paid for attending the interview. The selection committee's decision on your candidature is final and binding.
