SDAU JRF Recruitment 2026: Overview

Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University (SDAU) in Banaskantha, Gujarat is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at its College of Renewable Energy and Environmental Engineering (CREEE). The fellow will work on the project "Evaluation of Bio-efficacy of GI-14825 on Potato Sprout Inhibitors", which tests how well a product stops stored potatoes from sprouting.

This is a contractual project post filled through a walk-in interview, so there is no written test. It suits fresh agricultural, mechanical or electrical engineering graduates and renewable energy postgraduates who want research experience at a state agricultural university.

Posts and Disciplines

• Agricultural Engineering: B.Tech or M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering.
• Renewable Energy: M.Tech in Renewable Energy.
• Mechanical, Electrical or related branches: B.Tech or BE in Mechanical, Electrical or a relevant allied discipline.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The post is purely temporary for 11 months from joining or until the project continues, whichever is earlier. SDAU is not bound to offer any job after that.
• Full-time work: You must work full-time on the project activities.
• Performance: If your work is not satisfactory, the engagement can be ended without notice, even before the period is over.
• Medical certificate: You must give a medical fitness certificate when you join.
• Disputes: Any dispute falls under the Dantiwada jurisdiction.
