Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has released Vacancy Notice No. 13/26/S.E. Contract for 40 Site Engineer posts — 30 Civil and 10 Electrical — for its projects spread across Pan-India. The engagement is purely on a short-term contract basis, initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project needs. Selection is interview-based with no written exam. Experienced engineers from Government, PSU, or private construction sectors can apply.

• Site Engineer (Civil): 30 posts
• Site Engineer (Electrical): 10 posts

The total vacancies (40) are tentative and may be modified by RLDA. Posting will be at any RLDA project location across India.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognised University or Institute approved by AICTE/UGC/Government of India.
• Minimum Marks: 55% for General/OBC/EWS, and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
• Course Type: Only full-time regular courses are accepted.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Construction, Development, Electrical work, or MEP in Central Govt., State Govt., PSUs, or other private organisations.
• Preferred Skills: Building construction works.
• Internship, apprenticeship, training, teaching, academic, or freelancing experience will NOT count as qualifying experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on 22 May 2026 (closing date).
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Ex-Servicemen/PwD candidates.
• If you are eligible for relaxation under more than one ground, only the highest admissible relaxation will apply.

Salary

• Monthly consolidated remuneration: Rs. 76,000 per month (all inclusive).
• Statutory deductions like Income Tax and Professional Tax will apply.
• Employer's contribution towards EPF forms part of the CTC.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done in stages:

1. Shortlisting: If applications are high, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of last drawn Gross Salary, relevant work experience in Civil Construction/Project supervision, and percentage of marks in B.Tech.
2. Personal Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Weightage will be given for M.Tech qualification and for direct work experience in Indian Railways/Central PSU/State PSU/Govt Department for at least 1 cumulative year.
3. Document Verification: Original documents must be produced at the time of interview.
4. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must be medically fit and submit a medical certificate before joining (at their own cost).
5. Police Verification: A police clearance certificate must be submitted before joining.

2. Fill the application form in BLOCK LETTERS using a blue ball pen.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of educational certificates, experience certificates, caste/category certificate (if applicable), identity proof, address proof, last 3 months' payslips, Form-16 of FY 2025-26, and 4 passport-size photographs.
4. Send the completed application by email to site.engg.rlda@gmail.com.
5. Also send a hard copy by post to the RLDA office at Unit No. 702-B, 7th Floor, Konnectus Tower-II, DMRC Building, Ajmeri Gate, Delhi-110002.

• Supervise civil or electrical construction work at assigned RLDA project sites
• Monitor day-to-day project execution and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers on site
• Check quality of materials and workmanship as per railway and IRC standards
• Prepare daily progress reports, measurement books, and project updates
• Assist in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installation and testing for electrical engineers
• Handle safety compliance and report any site issues to senior officers
• Verify contractor bills and recommend payments based on actual work done
