The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released notification number RBISB/DA/02/2026-27 to engage 8 Consultant Site Engineers on a full-time contract basis across the Civil and Electrical disciplines. These are senior technical roles for experienced engineers who will supervise RBI's building and construction projects. There is no written exam — selection is based on screening, document verification, and an interview.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Civil posts: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognised university. M.Tech in the relevant discipline is desirable.
• Electrical post: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university. M.Tech in the relevant discipline is desirable.

Work Experience

• You must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in construction and project management of buildings.
• Out of this, at least 5 years should be in CPWD, CPSUs or similar government organisations at the level of Assistant Executive Engineer / Executive Engineer or above.

Age Limit

• You should be between 40 and 65 years old.
• No age relaxation is available for any category for these contract posts.

Salary

• Level 2 (Grade B): Rs. 2,40,000 to Rs. 3,40,000 per month (consolidated, negotiable)
• Level 3 (Grade C): Rs. 3,10,000 to Rs. 4,10,000 per month (consolidated, negotiable)
• You will also get a housing allowance on top of the monthly pay.

• General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 600 + GST (application fee plus intimation charges)
• SC / ST / PwBD: Rs. 100 + GST (intimation charges only)
• Eligible RBI staff candidates: No fee

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Preliminary Screening / Shortlisting: A screening committee shortlists candidates based on qualifications and experience.
2. Document Verification: Your certificates and experience proof are checked.
3. Interview: Final selection is based on your performance in the interview.
