PDKV Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026: Overview

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (Dr. PDKV), Akola is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Agri-Business Incubation Centre (R-ABI), run through the Next Gen Agri Innovation Foundation (NG-AIF). The post is funded under the RKVY-RAFTAAR Agri Business Incubator project, which works with agri-startups and the wider startup ecosystem.

This is a purely contractual project post with a consolidated monthly pay, not a regular university job. It suits you if you hold a management, finance, commerce or agri-business degree and have worked in areas such as technology commercialization, investment banking, banking, project appraisal or supporting incubators and startups.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The job lasts as long as the project or up to 31 March 2027, whichever comes first, and it can be ended at any time.
• Pay can be adjusted: If you lack the full qualification or have less experience than asked for, the hiring committee may offer a lower pay matched to your profile.
• No regular status: You get no regular leave and no claim to continued service or a regular post in the university.
• Contract bond: You must sign a Rs. 100 contract bond before joining and follow the terms in the contract.
• Medical fitness: Submit a fitness certificate from the Civil Surgeon within 15 days of joining.
• Joining: Join within 10 days of the order, or the order is cancelled.
• Notice period: Give one month's notice before resigning, or pay for the shortfall.
• Termination: The Principal Investigator can end the engagement without notice for unsatisfactory work, and the post ends early if the project closes or the position is abolished.
• Government employees: You must produce a No Objection Certificate from your current employer.
• Future of the post: If the project continues, the PI decides whether to re-advertise or continue the position.
• Travel: No TA/DA is paid for the interview, and canvassing in any form can disqualify you.
