Projects and Development India Limited (PDIL), a Mini Ratna Category-I Public Sector Undertaking under the Government of India, has released Advertisement No. HR/71/26/01 (Contract) for 153 Graduate Engineer and Diploma Engineer posts. PDIL is a design engineering and consultancy company with over six decades of experience in Fertilizer, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power, and Petrochemical projects. These are contract positions of up to 3 years, with postings at any PDIL office or project site across India — a good opportunity for both fresh and experienced engineers across technical and non-technical disciplines like HR, Materials Management, and Project Management.

Vacancy Breakdown by Designation

Vacancies are spread across engineering disciplines including Civil, Civil (Construction), Electrical, Mechanical (Piping, Machinery, Material Handling, Pressure Vessel, Construction), Instrumentation, Process, Fire/Industrial Safety, Human Resources, Materials Management, Management Services, Project Management, Computer/IT, and SSP & QC Audit. Of the total posts, 74 are unreserved and the rest are reserved for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS candidates.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Engineering degree (for Graduate Engineer posts) or a 3-year engineering diploma (for Diploma Engineer posts) in the relevant discipline, with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience: Post-qualification experience required ranges from 2 years to 11 years depending on the scale you apply for — check the table above for the exact requirement as on 30 June 2026.
• You should be well-versed in MS Office and relevant specialized software for your discipline, such as AutoCAD, SP3D/E3D, STAAD Pro, ETAP, or SAP, depending on the post.
• Only Indian Nationals can apply.

Age Limit

• Maximum age (as on 30 June 2026) ranges from 32 to 43 years depending on the post — for example, GES1 candidates can be up to 32 years and DES3 candidates up to 43 years.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 years, and PwBD candidates get 10 years of relaxation.
• No candidate aged 56 years or above is eligible for any post.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated monthly salary between Rs. 31,000 and Rs. 71,000, depending on your scale and discipline (see the vacancy table above for scale-wise pay).
• This amount already includes House Rent, Medical, Mobile, and Conveyance allowances, and you get a 3% annual increment.
• If you are posted outside Noida, Vadodara, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, or Hyderabad, you also get a Site Allowance of Rs. 250 per day.
• Candidates posted in the North East get an additional North East Allowance of Rs. 3,000-5,000 per month.
• PF and Gratuity will be paid as per statutory labour codes.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Screening of Applications: PDIL will check your eligibility, qualification, and experience documents.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at PDIL Bhawan, Noida. Outstation candidates who are shortlisted and appear for the interview can claim travel allowance (TA) — 3AC/Rajdhani fare for Graduate Engineers and Sleeper class for Diploma Engineers, by the shortest route.
