NPCIL Executive Trainee (ET-2026) Recruitment

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released notification NPCIL/HQ/HRM/ET/I&FS/Physics/2026/01 for the recruitment of 30 Executive Trainees in two streams: Industrial & Fire Safety (I&FS) and Physics.

This is a great chance for fresh graduates and postgraduates to start a career in India's nuclear power sector. After 1 year of training, you will be placed as Scientific Officer/C in NPCIL stations across India.

Who Can Apply?

For I&FS Posts:

  • B.E. or B.Tech in Fire Engineering / Fire & Safety Engineering / Safety & Fire Engineering / Industrial Safety with minimum 60% marks

For Physics Posts:

  • M.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 60% marks

Age Limit: Maximum 26 years as on 4th March 2026

Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC (NCL): 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

Freshers can apply. No experience is needed.

Salary and Benefits

During Training (1 Year):

  • Stipend: Rs. 74,000 per month
  • Book Allowance: Rs. 30,000 (one-time)
  • Free accommodation and meals during training

After Training (Scientific Officer/C):

  • Pay Level 10: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month (7th CPC)
  • DA at 58%, HRA, Transport Allowance, Site Allowance
  • Medical facility under CHSS, LTA, Performance Incentive
  • Group Insurance, Provident Fund, and Gratuity

Application Fee

  • SC / ST / PwBD / Female / Ex-Servicemen: No fee

Service Bond

Selected candidates must sign a bond of Rs. 9,18,000 for a minimum of 3 years of service after completing the training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physics-related technical work in nuclear power plants (for Physics stream)
  • Follow all safety rules and guidelines of the Department of Atomic Energy
  • Take part in 1-year compulsory training programme before joining duties
  • Work at any NPCIL station across India as per posting orders

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

I&FS: B.E./B.Tech in Fire/Safety Engineering (60%). Physics: M.Sc./Integrated M.Sc. in Physics (60%). Freshers eligible.
