National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Hajipur (NIPER Hajipur) has released a recruitment notice for the Health Technology Assessment in India (HTAIn) Technical Resource Centre. Who Can Apply?

Health Economist

• Qualification: Master's degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, or Community Medicine with specialization in healthcare costing or economic evaluation.
• Experience: You need 2 years in health economics for junior-level work, and 6 years for senior-level work.
• Preferred: Ph.D. in the related field, along with MS Office, VBA, and TreeAge skills.

Scientist D / Senior Research Officer

• Medical route: MD, MS, DNB, MPH after MBBS with 6 years research experience, or MBBS with 8 years experience, or PG diploma after MBBS with 5 years experience, or relevant Ph.D. with 5 years experience.
• Non-medical route: Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology with 5 years R&D or teaching experience after Ph.D.; or First Class MPH, Pharm.D, or master's degree with 8 years experience; or second class M.Sc/MPH plus Ph.D. with 8 years experience.
• Project management: You also need 2 years experience in managing R&D projects in a team.

Scientist C / Research Officer

• Medical route: MBBS with 6 years experience, PG diploma after MBBS with 5 years experience, or MD/MS/DNB/MPH after MBBS with 4 years research experience.
• Non-medical route: M.Sc Life Science, MPH, MHA, M.Pharm, or Pharm.D with 4 years relevant experience.
• Preferred: Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology with 2 years R&D or teaching experience, plus computer application or data management knowledge.

Administrative Officer, Field Officer and Field Investigator

• Administrative Officer: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 3 years experience in a government department, statutory body, autonomous body, university, or PSU, plus MS Office skills; retired Section Officer or Under Secretary level officers can also apply.
• Field Officer: Graduate in Science or relevant subject with 3 years work experience, or master's degree in a relevant subject, or Pharm.D.
• Field Investigator: Graduate in Science or relevant subject with 3 years work experience, or master's degree in a relevant subject, or Pharm.D.
• Preferred for field roles: Hospital-based research, public health surveys, communication skills, and coordination skills.

Age Limit

• Health Economist: Upper age limit is 40 years.
• Scientist D / Senior Research Officer: Upper age limit is 45 years.
• Scientist C / Research Officer: Upper age limit is 40 years.
• Administrative Officer: Upper age limit is 50 years.
• Field Officer and Field Investigator: Upper age limit is 35 years.
• Relaxation: Administrative Officer age can be relaxed by up to 5 years for government servants and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per DoPT instructions. NIPER may also consider relaxation for exceptionally qualified or experienced candidates as per applicable rules.

Salary

• Health Economist: Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA.
• Scientist D / Senior Research Officer: Rs. 78,000 per month + HRA.
• Scientist C / Research Officer: Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA.
• Administrative Officer: Rs. 40,000 per month.
• Field Officer: Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month.
• Field Investigator: Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 32,000 per month.
• The pay is consolidated monthly salary for temporary project work under the HTAIn-TRC.
