Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad has released a contract recruitment notice for posts sanctioned for Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS), Sanath Nagar. Who Can Apply?

For Technician Posts

• Medical laboratory roles: You need B.Sc. Transfusion Medicine, B.Sc. MLT, PGDMLT or the matching laboratory qualification for the post.
• Radiology roles: You need B.Sc. Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Bachelor in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, B.Sc. Radiography and Imaging Technology, or B.Sc. Life Sciences with PG Diploma in Radiography and Imaging Technology.
• Special technician roles: ECG, CSSD, Anaesthesia, Audiometry, Audio Visual, EEG, Cath Lab and Biomedical Technician posts need the relevant B.Sc., diploma, ITI or professional course listed in the notification.
• Experience: Most technician posts need one year of relevant experience, often in a 750-bedded or larger hospital; CSSD and administrative posts have separate experience rules.

For Administrative Posts

• APRO and Supervisor: Degree with PG/Diploma in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, Human Resources or Master in Hospital Management, with required experience.
• Medical Record Officer: B.Sc. Medical Records plus English typewriting qualification and four years relevant hospital experience.
• Statistician: M.Sc. Biostatistics or Statistics with computer and statistical software ability and three years experience.
• Finance and accounts roles: CA, CA intermediate, M.Com, commerce, finance or accounts qualification as per post, with one to five years relevant experience.

Age Limit

• Age reference date: 01 July 2026
• Technical, allied and support posts: Maximum 35 years
• Administrative posts: Maximum 45 years
• SC / ST / BC / EWS: Relaxation of 5 years

• Telangana Government employees: Relaxation up to 5 years based on regular service length
• Upper cap after relaxation: No person can cross 61 years after age relaxation.

Salary

• Technician posts: Most technician roles carry consolidated pay of Rs. 32,500 per month.
• Assistant Public Relations Officer, Medical Record Officer, Statistician, Senior Assistant, Supervisor and Health Inspector: Rs. 35,000 per month.
• Assistant Registrar / Assistant Financial Controller and Accountant: Rs. 40,000 per month.
• Deputy Registrar / Deputy Financial Controller: Rs. 50,000 per month.
• Accounts Officer / Financial Controller: Rs. 80,000 per month.
• Allowances: The notice gives consolidated monthly amounts, so do not assume extra allowances unless NIMS issues a separate update.

• Payment mode: Demand Draft in favour of The Director, NIMS, Hyderabad or payment through IP Billing, Ground Floor, Old Building, NIMS.

Selection Process

NIMS will decide the method based on the number of eligible applications received for a post.

1. Up to 10 applications: Selection through interview.
2. 11 to 30 applications: Screening based on qualification and experience, followed by interview.
3. More than 30 applications: Written examination, skill test and/or interview as decided by the Institute.
4. Final decision: The Selection Committee and the Director, NIMS will make the final decision.
