NIELIT Leh Resource Person Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Leh has invited applications for 2 contractual positions to be deployed at the NIELIT Study Centre located at Government Degree College (GDC) Zanskar. These roles will support skill development and capacity-building programs in the remote Zanskar region of Ladakh. Preference will be given to candidates from the Zanskar Region. Both positions are on a 1-year contract basis, making them ideal for IT graduates looking to gain experience in a government institution.

Who Can Apply?

For Resource Person (Technical) - Rs. 30,000/month:

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, ECE, or EEE from a recognized university
• OR M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT from a recognized university
• OR MCA from a recognized university/institution
• OR B-Level from DOEACC/NIELIT
• Desirable: Experience or knowledge in the field of AI or IoT
• Candidates with higher qualifications in relevant streams will be preferred

For Junior Resource Person (Technical / Lab Assistant) - Rs. 20,000/month:

• Qualification: B.Sc. in Computer Science or IT from a recognized university
• OR BCA from a recognized university
• OR A-Level from DOEACC/NIELIT
• Desirable: Experience or knowledge in the field of AI or IoT
• Candidates with higher qualifications and experience will be preferred

Important: Your degree must be from a Government University or Government-recognized university/institution. If your last semester result is still awaited or your degree is incomplete, you are not eligible to apply.

Salary

• Resource Person (Technical): Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
• Junior Resource Person (Technical): Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated)
• These are consolidated amounts on contract basis for an initial period of 1 year

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done through the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the NIELIT Leh website.
2. Document Verification: You must bring all original documents along with self-attested photocopies of marksheets, degrees, testimonials, experience certificates, and a valid photo ID. Without originals, you will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
3. Interview: Conducted at NIELIT Leh, Council Secretariat Complex, Leh, Ladakh.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or document verification.
