NIELIT Chief Resource Person Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Ajmer, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has announced selection and empanelment for Chief Resource Person. The role is for one year initially and may be extended depending on requirement and project tenure. Who Can Apply?

Education

• B.E./B.Tech route: B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering with at least 65% marks.
• M.E./M.Tech route: M.Tech or M.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Thermal Engineering with First Class.

Experience

• For B.E./B.Tech candidates: minimum 15 years relevant experience.
• For M.E./M.Tech candidates: minimum 13 years relevant experience.
• Cut-off Date: experience will be counted up to 02 July 2026.

Salary

• Selected/empanelled person will get a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 65,000.
• The appointment is purely contractual, initially for one year or until the project tenure, whichever is earlier.
• The notice says no pension or gratuity is payable for this contract engagement.

The salary is a fixed monthly contract amount, not a regular central government pay matrix level. NIELIT may revise contract conditions only as per applicable rules and the terms of engagement.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

The selection will be handled through walk-in interview and document verification on the same date.

1. Application Scrutiny: NIELIT will check whether your education, experience, fee, and documents match the eligibility rules.
2. Document Verification: You must bring original documents and self-attested photocopies.
3. Walk-in Interview: Suitable applicants will appear before NIELIT Ajmer for the interview.
4. Empanelment: NIELIT will create a panel and deploy the selected resource person as needed.

The notice says the interview and document verification will be on the same date. If your original documents or required self-attested copies are missing, you may not be allowed to appear for the interview.
