NIB Recruitment 2026 - Scientist, Lab Technician & Other Posts

The National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), an apex autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare based in Noida, is hiring for 44 vacancies across seven different posts. Selection Process

You will go through a Computer Based Test (CBT) with objective-type multiple choice questions as the first stage. For Scientist posts, this is followed by a Personal Discussion round. If you are applying for Administrative Assistant or Assistant-II, expect a Skill Test as well. The Junior Hindi Translator post has a separate two-paper format covering Paper-I (Objective) and Paper-II (Descriptive/Translation).

2. Practice previous year papers from similar central government scientific institutions to understand the question pattern

4. Junior Hindi Translator candidates should practice translation passages between Hindi and English daily, focusing on official terminology

Documents You Will Need

• Educational certificates - all mark sheets and degree certificates from 10th standard onwards
• Experience certificates - mandatory for posts requiring prior experience
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) - issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format
• Age proof - 10th class certificate or birth certificate
• Recent passport-size photographs and signature scan
• DMLT diploma - specifically for Laboratory Technician applicants
• No Objection Certificate - if currently employed in government or autonomous body

• Conduct quality control testing and evaluation of biological products including vaccines, blood products, and diagnostic kits
• Perform laboratory-based assays, bioassays, and analytical procedures following established protocols
• Maintain laboratory records, prepare reports, and document experimental findings accurately
• Support research activities related to biologicals standardization and quality assurance
• Handle administrative functions including correspondence, record management, and Hindi translation as per post assignment
