Who Can Apply?

DGM (IT) and DGM (AFC Systems)

  • Qualification: You need B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, ECE or EEE from an AICTE/UGC approved institute, based on the post.
  • Experience: You should be working in analogous E5 grade, or in E4 / equivalent pre-revised scale for at least 2 years.
  • Preferred: ME/M.Tech in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Cyber Security, Software Systems, ECE or EEE, and about 6 years experience in the listed work areas.

Senior Manager Posts

  • Qualification: You need B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT or Electronics from an approved university/institute.
  • Experience: You should be in analogous E4 grade, or in E3 / equivalent pre-revised scale for at least 2 years.
  • Preferred: ME/M.Tech in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Cyber Security or Software Systems, with about 5 years experience in the job area.

Assistant Manager (IT)

  • Qualification: You need B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics from an approved institute.
  • Experience: You need at least 4 years post-qualification experience, including the pay scale/service conditions mentioned in the notice.
  • Government/Railway officers: Separate CDA pay scale conditions are given in the notice for Ministry of Railways and other Government Department staff.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age for all posts is 45 years.

Selection Process

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day IT operations, system availability and issue resolution for NHSRCL offices
  • Handle IT vendor coordination, contract monitoring and SLA follow-up as per government procurement rules
  • Monitor IT security controls, audit compliance and internal or external audit requirements
  • Prepare and review database queries, reports and data-driven dashboards for management decisions
  • Lead AFC ticketing hardware, gates, TVMs, TOMs and related network infrastructure where assigned
  • Manage data analytics, ETL workflows, Power BI/Tableau dashboards, chatbot or AI use cases where assigned
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure security, IAM, monitoring, vendor performance and cost control where assigned
  • Support UAT, testing, validation, defect tracking and formal sign-off for IT and AFC systems
