Educational Qualification

  • Civil/Track: You need a 3-year engineering diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a government-recognised university or institute.
  • Electrical: You need a 3-year engineering diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Signalling and Telecom: You need a 3-year engineering diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Rolling Stock: You need a 3-year engineering diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
  • Operations: You need a 3-year engineering diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in any discipline from a government-recognised university or institute.

Experience and Service Conditions

  • IDA pay scale route: You need 5 years supervisory experience in the relevant railway, metro, RRTS, maintenance, rolling stock, or operations area and must meet the required bottom-pay condition.
  • CDA pay scale route: You need the relevant supervisory experience, must be working in PB-2 + GP 4200 / Level 6, and need 4 years of Group C service.
  • Experience certificate: You must submit a certificate from your employer showing year-wise work details and the type of work handled.
  • Controller assignment: Candidates may need to give preference for OCC Controller assignment, but final allocation will be decided by NHSRCL.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age is 45 years.

Salary

  • Handle operations and maintenance work for civil, track, electrical, signalling, telecom, rolling stock, or train operations systems
  • Inspect and monitor high-speed rail assets during regular maintenance and emergency restoration work
  • Coordinate with OCC controllers, maintenance teams, and other departments during normal and incident operations
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for assigned railway systems
  • Prepare maintenance manuals, technical reports, inspection records, and incident reports
  • Follow safety rules, medical fitness standards, and operational procedures for high-speed train systems
  • Manage shift duties, night maintenance activities, and urgent restoration work when required
