National Health Mission Nashik Recruitment 2026 — 88 Posts

National Health Mission (NHM), District Nashik has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 for 88 contractual posts across 16 different medical and paramedical positions. Posts are spread across district hospitals, sub-district hospitals, rural hospitals, and urban PHCs in the Nashik district. Specialist and Medical Officer MBBS posts will continue to be filled every third Wednesday until 30 June 2026 if vacancies remain unfilled after the first interview.

Who Can Apply?

Super Specialist Posts (Nephrologist, Cardiologist)

• You need a DM degree in the relevant speciality (DM Nephrology or DM Cardiology).

Specialist Posts (Gynaecologist, Pediatrician, Anaesthetist, Surgeon, Physician, Microbiologist, Orthopaedician)

• You need an MD/MS/DNB or equivalent PG medical degree in the relevant speciality.
• For Radiologist: MD Radiology or DMRD required. Remuneration includes on-call pay of Rs. 400 per sonography, with a maximum of Rs. 75,000 per month.
• For Microbiologist: Medical Graduate with PG Degree/Diploma in Microbiology/Virology/Pathology, OR M.Sc Medical Microbiology with minimum 2 years of experience in medical microbiology.

Medical Officer (MBBS)

• You need an MBBS degree from a recognised medical college.

Public Health Manager

• You need a medical graduate degree (MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS/BHM) plus a post-graduate degree in Public Health (MPH/MHA/MBA in Health).

ANM

• You need an ANM certificate from a recognised institution.

X-Ray Technician

• You need to have passed 12th Class plus a Diploma in X-Ray/Radiography Technology.

Peer Educator (NVHCP)

• You need to have passed 12th Class.
• You must be a Hepatitis B or C patient or their relative (as per State guidelines).

Multipurpose Trainer (DMHP)

• You need an ITI or Handicraft Trainer certificate in a Vocational Course.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years (as on 12 March 2026)
• For Specialist and Medical Officer (MBBS): maximum 70 years
• For other posts (General category): maximum 38 years
• For other posts (Reserved category): maximum 43 years (5 years relaxation)
• For other posts: maximum 65 years as per Government rules
• Note: Candidates with more than 2 children born after 26/01/2026 are not eligible as per NHM service rules.

Salary

• Super Specialists (Nephrologist, Cardiologist): Rs. 1,25,000 per month
• Specialists (Gynaecologist, Pediatrician, Anaesthetist, Surgeon, Physician, Orthopaedician, Microbiologist): Rs. 75,000 per month
• Radiologist: Rs. 400 per on-call sonography, maximum Rs. 75,000 per month
• Medical Officer (MBBS): Rs. 60,000 per month
• Public Health Manager: Rs. 30,000 per month
• ANM: Rs. 18,000 per month
• X-Ray Technician: Rs. 17,000 per month
• Peer Educator (NVHCP): Rs. 8,000 per month
• Multipurpose Trainer (DMHP): Rs. 400 per day (minimum 20 working days per month)
• All posts are on a contractual basis for 11 months and 29 days, renewable based on performance.

Selection Process

Selection is done through a Walk-in Interview. There is no separate written exam. The interview panel evaluates candidates on the following criteria:

1. Subject Knowledge: 10 marks
2. Research and Academic Knowledge: 10 marks
3. Leadership Quality: 10 marks
4. Administrative Abilities: 10 marks
5. Experience Evaluation: 10 marks (Government experience: 2 marks/year; Private experience: 1 mark/year; maximum 10 marks)

Total: 50 marks. A merit list is prepared based on interview scores. For post no. 12 (Public Health Manager), last year's final marks in relevant subjects plus relevant NHM field experience are also considered by the committee.

4. Collect all required documents (originals and self-attested photocopies).
5. Report at Zilla Parishad Bhavan, ABB Circle, YCM Road (Trimbak Road), Nashik at 10:00 AM on the interview date.
6. Register at the venue, submit your documents, and attend the interview.
7. Note: No travel allowance or sitting allowance is paid for attending the interview.

• Provide medical care and treatment to patients at assigned government health facilities in Nashik district
• Conduct outpatient and inpatient services as per the programme requirements (NPCDCS, NRC, SNCU, etc.)
• Maintain accurate patient records, registers, and reports as prescribed by NHM guidelines
• Coordinate with district health authorities and implement national health programme activities
• Conduct or assist in surgeries, deliveries, and emergency procedures as per specialisation
• Participate in health camps, immunisation drives, and community health programmes
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain hygiene standards at the health facility
• Report disease outbreaks and submit monthly performance reports to district authorities
