State Health Systems Resource Centre (SHSRC), Pune — set up under the National Health Mission, Maharashtra — has invited applications for filling up 9 contractual posts as per the project implementation plan. All posts are based at SHSRC Pune only and are purely contractual; they are not regular State Government posts. The recruitment covers leadership roles like Executive Director (Rs. 1,00,000/month) down to entry-level Statistician (Rs. 30,000/month) — making it relevant for both senior public health professionals and freshers with the right academic qualification.

Who Can Apply?

Executive Director (Rs. 1,00,000/month)

• Qualification: MBBS with PG Medical or Public Health qualification, OR MBA from a reputed institution with specialisation in Health Management / Public Health Management, OR Master's in Social Sciences / Public Policy / Public Administration.
• Experience: Minimum 20-25 years of post-qualification work experience, of which at least 10 years must be in public health or health systems strengthening in a leadership position.

Advisor (Public Health) (Rs. 70,000/month)

• Qualification: Post Graduate or higher qualification in Medicine and Public Health.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience leading large-scale public health programmes.

Senior Consultant (Health Care Technology) (Rs. 55,000 + Rs. 5,000 for MBBS)

• Qualification: MBBS / BDS / AYUSH / B.Sc Nursing with PG Degree/Diploma in Preventive & Social Medicine, Public Health, Community Health or Community Nursing, OR BE/M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, OR PG Degree in Biotechnology.
• Experience: At least 5 years of post-qualification work in health systems strengthening, program planning or implementation. Preference will be given to Biomedical Engineer / Biotechnology candidates.

Consultant - Public Health (Rs. 45,000 + Rs. 5,000 for MBBS)

• Qualification: MBBS / BDS / AYUSH / B.Sc Nursing with PG Degree/Diploma in Preventive & Social Medicine, Public Health, Community Health or Community Nursing.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years for MBBS graduates, minimum 3 years for non-MBBS graduates, in Public Health or service delivery planning.

Consultant (HR & Policy) (Rs. 45,000 + Rs. 5,000 for MBBS)

• Qualification: MBBS / BDS / AYUSH / B.Sc Nursing with PG Degree/Diploma in Preventive & Social Medicine, Public Health, Community Health or Community Nursing, OR MBA in HR. Preference will be given to MBA HR candidates.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years for MBBS graduates, minimum 3 years for non-MBBS graduates.

Statistician (Rs. 30,000/month)

• Qualification: M.Sc. Statistics.
• Experience: Preference will be given to experienced candidates. Freshers can also apply.

Common Requirements (all posts)

• You must have knowledge of Marathi.
• Qualification must be from a UGC-recognised university.
• For medical posts, registration with the relevant Medical Council is mandatory.
• MSCIT certificate is required (mention details in the application).
• You must follow the State Government's Small Family policy and submit the declaration form.
• Maharashtra domicile certificate is required if you are claiming domicile status.

Age Limit

• Executive Director and Advisor (Public Health): Up to 69 years on 9 June 2026.
• All other posts (Open category): 18 to 38 years on 9 June 2026.
• All other posts (Reserved category): 18 to 43 years on 9 June 2026 (maximum age relaxation of 5 years).
• For staff currently working on a contractual basis under the National Health Mission, the upper age limit does not apply — but a certificate from your current office head must be attached.

Salary

• Executive Director: Rs. 1,00,000 per month (consolidated)
• Advisor (Public Health): Rs. 70,000 per month (consolidated)
• Senior Consultant (Health Care Technology): Rs. 55,000 per month (Rs. 60,000 for MBBS holders)
• Consultant (Public Health) and Consultant (HR & Policy): Rs. 45,000 per month (Rs. 50,000 for MBBS holders)
• Statistician: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
• The salary is a consolidated monthly honorarium. No additional DA, HRA, or other allowances are paid.

• Reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/VJ(A)/EWS): Rs. 500
• Payment mode: Demand Draft from a Nationalised Bank in favour of STATE HEALTH SOCIETY MAHARASHTRA - OTHERS.
• If you are applying for more than one post, you must submit a separate demand draft for each post.
• Application fee is non-refundable. Applications without the demand draft will be rejected.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in one of the following ways:

1. Interview only: If selection is by interview alone, candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio based on marks and experience.
2. Written exam followed by interview: If a written exam is held, only those who clear it will be called for the interview.

The Commissioner, Health Services and Mission Director, NHM Mumbai has the final authority to modify the selection process depending on the number of applications received.
