National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, has invited applications for 37 Young Professional positions under Advertisement No. 04/2026. These posts are spread across six specialized domains at three experience levels: Associate, Senior Associate, and Consultant. The engagement is on a contract basis for 2 years, extendable up to 3 years. This is an excellent opportunity for young professionals from premier institutions to contribute to India's strategic highway infrastructure development in the Northeastern Region, hilly states, and border areas.

Who Can Apply?

Construction Management (Associate / Senior Associate / Consultant)

• Qualification: Master's in Construction Management, M.Tech in Structural Engineering, or equivalent from IITs, NITs, or institutions ranked within top 100 in NIRF Engineering category.

Technical (Associate / Senior Associate / Consultant)

• Qualification: Master's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Underground Construction, Tunnel Engineering, or equivalent Master's in Geology / Geo-Technical Engineering from IITs, NITs, or NIRF top 100 institutions.

Human Resources (Associate / Senior Associate)

• Qualification: MBA in HR or equivalent from IIMs or institutions with NIRF ranking up to 100 in Management category.

Finance (Associate / Senior Associate / Consultant)

• Qualification: CA / CMA / 2-year full-time MBA in Finance from IIMs or institutions with NIRF ranking up to 100 in Management category.

Legal (Associate / Senior Associate)

• Qualification: LLB / LLM or Graduate / Postgraduate Degree in Law from National Law Schools or institutions with NIRF ranking up to 30 in Law category.

Information Technology (Associate / Senior Associate)

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Networks, Electronics and Communication, or M.Tech in Cyber Security / Network Management, or B.Tech + MBA from IITs, NITs, IIITs, or NIRF top 100 institutions.

Note: For candidates with degrees from foreign universities, Times/QS rankings will be considered.

Age Limit

• Associate: Maximum 30 years (Experience: 0-2 years)
• Senior Associate: Maximum 40 years (Experience: 2-9 years)
• Consultant: Maximum 45 years (Experience: 9-15 years)

Age is calculated as on the date of issue of the recruitment advertisement.

Salary

• Associate (0-2 years experience): Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month
• Senior Associate (2-9 years experience): Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month
• Consultant (9-15 years experience): Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 2,75,000 per month

The remuneration is paid as a consolidated consultancy fee inclusive of all applicable taxes. No additional allowance is provided. Annual enhancement of up to 5% may be given based on performance review by the Consultants' Review Committee (CRC).

Selection Process

The selection will be done through the following stages:

1. Screening by Screening Committee: The internally constituted committee chaired by Executive Director (Technical/Projects/Administration) will shortlist eligible applicants from the pool.
2. Written Test: May be conducted as part of the evaluation criteria.
3. Group Discussion: Shortlisted candidates may be assessed through group discussion.
4. Personal Interview: The Selection Committee chaired by the Managing Director, along with Director (HR), Director (Technical), and 2 Outside Subject Matter Experts, will conduct the interview.
5. Document Verification: Final verification of all documents and credentials.

The Selection Committee may recommend a Reserve List valid for 3 months from the date of recommendation.
