Scientific Officer (C) - GDMO (Group A, Level 10):
- Qualification: M.B.B.S. from a recognized University with valid registration with Medical Council of India
- Experience: Minimum 1 year after completing M.B.B.S. (mandatory internship will not count as experience)
Nurse (A) (Group B, Level 7):
- XII Standard and Diploma in Nursing & Mid-wifery (3 years course), OR
- B.Sc. (Nursing), OR
- Nursing 'A' Certificate with 3 years experience in Armed Force Hospital, OR
- Nursing Assistant Class III & above from the Armed Forces
- Note: Valid registration as Nurse from any Central/State Nursing Council of India is mandatory
Scientific Assistant (B) - Radiographer (Group B, Level 6):
- Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Radiography), OR
- Minimum 50% marks in B.Sc. and 1 year Diploma in Radiography
Scientific Assistant (B) - Pathology Technician (Group B, Level 6):
- B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks followed by post graduate Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) with minimum 60% marks, OR
- B.Sc. (MLT) with minimum 60% marks
Pharmacist (B) (Group C, Level 5):
- HSC (10+2) plus 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy plus 3 months Training in Pharmacy
- Registration as Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council is mandatory
Technician (B) - X-ray Technician (Group C, Level 3):
- Minimum 60% in HSC (Science) AND one year Medical Radiography / X-ray Technique Trade certificate from a recognized institution

- Scientific Officer (C) GDMO: Basic pay of Rs. 56,100 per month in Level 10 of Pay Matrix, plus Non Practicing Allowance and other allowances
- Nurse (A): Basic pay of Rs. 44,900 per month in Level 7 of Pay Matrix plus allowances
- Scientific Assistant (B) Radiographer / Pathology Technician: Basic pay of Rs. 35,400 per month in Level 6 of Pay Matrix plus allowances
- Pharmacist (B): Basic pay of Rs. 29,200 per month in Level 5 of Pay Matrix plus allowances
- Technician (B) X-ray Technician: Basic pay of Rs. 21,700 per month in Level 3 of Pay Matrix plus allowances

Selection Process
For Scientific Officer (C) GDMO, SA (B) Radiographer, SA (B) Pathology Technician (Post Codes 12601, 12603, 12604):
Selection is based on Personal Interview. If applications are high, NFC may conduct a Screening Test first:
- Screening Test (if required): 75 MCQs with negative marking (3 marks for correct, -1 for wrong), 90 minutes duration
- Personal Interview: Final selection based on interview performance

For Nurse (A), Pharmacist (B), Technician (B) X-ray Technician (Post Codes 12602, 12605, 12606):
Selection involves 3 stages:
- Stage 1 - Preliminary Test: 50 MCQs (Mathematics 20 + Science 20 + General Awareness 10), 1 hour, OMR-based. 3 marks per correct answer, -1 for wrong. Minimum qualifying: 40% (General), 30% (Reserved)
- Stage 2 - Advanced Test: 50 MCQs, 2 hours duration. 3 marks per correct, -1 for wrong. Minimum qualifying: 30% (General), 20% (Reserved). Merit list based on Stage 2 marks only
- Stage 3 - Skill Test: Go/No-Go basis. Candidates shortlisted (max 5x vacancies) based on Stage 2 merit. Final selection based on Stage 2 marks

Responsibilities
- Provide medical care and treatment to employees and their families at NFC health centres and dispensaries
- Handle patient examinations, diagnosis, and prescribe medications as per standard medical protocols
- Assist in emergency medical situations and provide first aid when needed
- Prepare and maintain patient health records, prescriptions, and medical reports
- Perform diagnostic tests including X-rays, blood tests, and radiography procedures as per assigned role
- Manage inventory of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment in the health facility
- Follow safety and radiation protection guidelines as applicable in a nuclear facility environment
- Work in shifts including night duty and weekend duty as required by the organization

Exam Pattern

Stage 3 - Skill Test (For Post Codes 12602, 12605, 12606)

- Maximum 5x vacancies shortlisted for Skill Test based on Stage 2 merit
- Final selection and empanelment based on Stage 2 (Advanced Test) marks
