National e-Governance Division (NeGD), an independent business division under Digital India Corporation and MeitY, supports major Digital India platforms and e-Governance projects. This recruitment is for experienced professionals who can work on advanced machine learning research, generative AI systems, LLM infrastructure, and production MLOps. The contract is initially for 3 years and may be extended based on project requirement.

• Experience: You need strong hands-on experience in production ML infrastructure, including large-scale model deployment and MLOps.
• Preferred Certifications: Cloud platform certifications and Kubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKAD are desirable.

Key Technical Skills

• Senior AI/ML Engineer: Strong knowledge of neural networks, transformers, model training, PEFT methods such as LoRA/QLoRA, RLHF, RAG, model evaluation, and statistical analysis is important.
• Senior MLOps Engineer: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, GPU clusters, vLLM, TGI, TensorRT-LLM, Ray Serve, Triton, cloud ML platforms, vector databases, MLflow/DVC, CI/CD, and observability tools is expected.
• Work Style: You should be comfortable documenting experiments, working with government project teams, and turning project needs into reliable AI systems.
