NCRTC Express Transit Limited (NETRA) is hiring 1 Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the top E9 grade. This is a senior leadership role for someone with a B.E/B.Tech degree and at least 20 years of experience in running Metro or RRTS (Namo Bharat) systems. NCRTC Express Transit Limited (NETRA) CEO Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

NCRTC Express Transit Limited (NETRA) is a fully owned subsidiary of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC), a joint venture of the Government of India and the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. NETRA runs the operation and maintenance of the Namo Bharat and other rail-based transit services. This is a single top-level CEO position to be filled by immediate absorption or direct recruitment. The whole hiring process is managed by NCRTC on behalf of NETRA.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You must have a B.E/B.Tech degree (or its equivalent) from a UGC-recognised university or an AICTE-approved institution.

Experience (Immediate Absorption)

• At least 20 years of post-qualification experience at Executive Level (E2/L9 or above) in a Central/State Government, CPSE, or autonomous body.
• Experience in the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of Metro or RRTS systems.
• At least 2 years of experience with a CBTC-based signalling system.

Experience (Direct Recruitment)

• At least 20 years of government/CPSE experience at Executive Level, OR at least 25 years for private sector candidates (with a minimum CTC of Rs. 38 lakhs per annum).
• Experience in O&M of Metro or RRTS systems and at least 2 years on a CBTC-based signalling system.

Desirable

• At least 2 years of experience with the ETCS (European Train Control System).
• Experience in operations at 160 kmph and in a senior Metro/RRTS position.

Teaching or freelancing experience is not counted as qualifying experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 55 years (as on 21 May 2026).
• Only Indian nationals aged 18 years or above can apply.
• Age of superannuation (retirement) is 60 years.

Salary

• Pay scale: Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000 per month at E9 level (IDA pattern).
• You also get Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), perks and allowances under the Cafeteria Approach.
• Other benefits at E9 level as per company rules, plus company or leased accommodation as per entitlement.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for this post. Selection is based on:

1. Document Verification: Done before the interview. You must carry all original certificates, or you will not be allowed to attend the interview.
2. Interview: Eligible candidates are called for an interview. The venue, date and time are informed in advance. Requests to change the date or venue are not entertained.

A pre-employment medical check is required (candidates already working in Govt/PSUs in a regular role are exempt).
