Northern Coalfields Limited, a Miniratna subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has issued Ref. No. NCL/HQ/HR/Fixed term Recruitment/2026/E-185 dated 2 June 2026. This notice is only for retired/superannuated employees of NCL and follows CIL guidelines for using the services of superannuated non-executive employees. It is not a fresh open-market recruitment for new Electrical Supervisor applicants.

The engagement is for using the services of experienced NCL non-executive staff after superannuation. The selected person first gets a provisional engagement offer, and that offer is subject to medical fitness under Coal India/NCL rules. The initial period is one year from joining, and a second one-year term can be considered only if performance, fitness, mutual consent and other CIL conditions support it.

Who Can Apply?

• Eligible service background: You must be a superannuated Electrical Supervisor of NCL.
• Superannuation window: Applicants who superannuated before 31 May 2023 are not allowed to apply, and employees who will superannuate after 31 May 2026 are also not allowed to apply.
• CIL guidelines: Other conditions follow CIL Office Order No. CIL/C-5B/MP&IR/Non-Ex./Guidelines/268 dated 12 October 2020.
• Application unit: You should apply from the Area/Unit of NCL from where you superannuated.

Selection Process
