The Office of the Divisional Officer, Soil & Water Conservation Division, Baghmara (South Garo Hills) — the project implementing agency of MSWWDA — has invited applications for 2 posts under an Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded project. Both posts are purely on a one-year contract basis, renewable based on performance. This is a good opening for civil engineers and administrative graduates who want project-based government work in Meghalaya.

Who Can Apply?

Assistant Manager (Technical) - Rs. 31,200/month

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Preference to candidates with 4 years of experience in site identification, design, planning, and preparation of estimates for engineering structures. Experience in Measurement Book (MB) entry and checking is an added plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, good computer knowledge, and survey work.
• You must be ready to stay within the project cluster or village.

Programme Associate (Administration & Data Management) - Rs. 22,100/month

• Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in filing, file management, electronic mail management, and documentation.
• Skills: Good written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 37 years old to apply for either post.

Salary

• Assistant Manager (Technical): Rs. 31,200 per month.
• Programme Associate: Rs. 22,100 per month.
• These are fixed monthly emoluments on a contract basis. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process

Selection is mainly through a personal interview:

1. Application Scrutiny: Your form and documents are checked for eligibility.
2. Personal Interview: Held on 14 July 2026 at 11:00 am at the Divisional Soil & Water Conservation Office, Baghmara.
3. Skill Test (if required): MSWWDA may hold an additional exam or skill test and ask for more documents.

Only shortlisted candidates are informed by SMS. The shortlist is also put up on the office notice board.
