MSIDC (Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation), a Government of Maharashtra undertaking, is hiring 7 retired officers on a contractual basis for Deputy Collector, Tahsildar, and Technical Advisor posts. MSIDC has released notification No. MSIDC/advertise/2028/2026, dated 29 June 2026, inviting applications for the contractual re-appointment of retired officers to Revenue Cadre posts (Pune Region) and a Technical Advisor post (all over Maharashtra). These are re-employment positions open only to retired officers of the State/Central Government, PSUs, or Government/GoM Authorities and Local Bodies. All three posts require a minimum of 25 years of prior government service, making this recruitment specifically for experienced, retired administrators and engineers.

Who Can Apply?

For Deputy Collector / Special Land Acquisition Officer (2 Posts):

• You need a degree in any stream and at least 25 years of total work experience.
• At least 5 years of this experience must be in the Deputy Collector or Special Land Acquisition Officer cadre, especially in land acquisition work.
• Only retired officers from Government of Maharashtra, PSU, or other Government/GoM Authority bodies can apply.

For Tahsildar (2 Posts):

• You need a degree in any stream and at least 25 years of total work experience.
• At least 5 years of this experience must be in the Tahsildar cadre, especially in land acquisition work.
• Only retired officers from Government of Maharashtra, PSU, or other Government/GoM Authority bodies can apply.

For Technical Advisor - E.E. Level (3 Posts):

• You need a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and at least 25 years of total work experience.
• This must include 2 years at Executive Engineer (EE) level and 5 years at Deputy Engineer/Assistant Engineer-I (DE/AE-I) level.
• Only retired officers from Government of Maharashtra, PSU, or other Government/GoM Authority bodies can apply.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Scrutiny: Applications will be screened and candidates who meet the criteria will be shortlisted.
2. Screening Test and/or Interview: The Selection Committee will conduct a screening test and/or interview of shortlisted candidates.
