Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (MSIDC), a Government of Maharashtra undertaking, has released a notification (No. MSIDC/advertise/1988/2026) for the contractual re-appointment of 10 technical posts across the Superintending Engineer, Deputy Engineer, Junior Engineer and Junior Engineer (Electrical) grades. This recruitment is exclusively for retired officers of the State or Central Government, PSU, or Government of Maharashtra bodies who meet the minimum experience criteria for each grade. If you retired from a civil or electrical engineering role in a government organisation, this is a good re-employment opportunity. Selected candidates can be asked to serve at any location or office of MSIDC as directed by the company, and the appointment does not carry any of the benefits or permanency given to regular employees.

Who Can Apply?

Superintending Engineer (1 Post):

• Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 25 years in total, including 2 years at SE level and 5 years at EE level in a government organisation

Deputy Engineer (4 Posts):

• Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 25 years in total, including 2 years at DE level and 5 years at JE level in a government organisation

Junior Engineer (4 Posts):

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 25 years in total, including 2 years at JE level and 5 years at CEA level in a government organisation

Junior Engineer - Electrical (1 Post):

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 25 years in total, including 2 years at JE (Electrical) level in a government organisation

Only retired officers from the Government of Maharashtra, a PSU, or a Government body of GoM/GoI are eligible. You should also know Marathi, Hindi and English, and be physically and mentally fit for the job.

Salary

The notification does not specify a fixed pay scale. Your remuneration will be based on your last drawn pay and pension, as per the Government of Maharashtra's re-employment guidelines (GR No. CBE-1525/CR-37/EST(Desk-13) dated 10 June 2025). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

MSIDC will select candidates through the following stages:

1. Screening: Applications are scrutinised, and only eligible, short-listed candidates move forward.
2. Screening Test and/or Interview: Conducted by the Selection Committee for short-listed candidates. Preference is given to candidates with higher qualification and experience.
3. Document Verification: You must produce all original documents at the time of interview.

MSIDC is not bound to conduct the interview online - your physical presence is required.

Application Form and Documents

The MSIDC application form asks for your personal details, a full education summary, and a detailed work/experience summary (with responsibilities described in 30-50 words for each role you have held). You also need to declare your last drawn pay scale and basic pay, along with your pension pay. Attach self-attested copies of the following:

• Latest resume with Aadhar Card, PAN Card and age proof
• School Leaving Certificate or SSC Certificate
• Certificates for your educational qualification
• Certificate of experience as mentioned in the application
• Last drawn pay certificate, clearly mentioning your pay scale and basic pay
• Pension-related documents issued by the competent authority, mentioning your pension pay

Only full-time courses from a Government-recognized university are accepted. Preference is given to candidates with higher qualifications and experience, and MSIDC will consider additional qualifications and experience gained up to the last date of submission.

3. Attach self-attested copies of your Aadhar Card, PAN Card, age proof, SSC certificate, education and experience certificates, last drawn pay certificate and pension documents.
