Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank Ltd. (MSC Bank), Mumbai, is the apex cooperative bank of Maharashtra and a scheduled bank with its head office, regional offices, and branches across the state. The bank has issued Advertisement No. 02 / MSC Bank / 2026-2027 for 6 Manager posts on contract basis. There is no written exam for this recruitment; selection is through application screening, shortlisting, and interview or discussion.

This is a contract role, not a regular bank appointment. The first appointment will be for 1 year, and after performance assessment the term can be extended up to a maximum of 5 years. The selected person may be posted at the Head Office, Regional Offices, or branches across Maharashtra based on the bank's business requirement.

Who Can Apply?

Education and Banking Qualification

• Qualification: You need a graduate degree or equivalent from a recognised university in any discipline with minimum II Class.
• Banking exam: You must have passed the CAIIB examination.
• Experience: You need 10 to 12 years of banking experience at senior or middle management level in a Commercial Bank, District Central Co-operative Bank, or Urban Bank.
• Who should avoid applying: If you have not passed CAIIB or do not have the required senior/middle management banking experience, the notification says you are not eligible for this post.

Domicile and Language

• Domicile: You must be a resident of Maharashtra and must submit a Maharashtra domicile certificate.
• Language: You should be proficient in Marathi, English, and Hindi.
• Posting: You must be ready to work at the Head Office, Regional Offices, or branches of MSC Bank in Maharashtra.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 45 years
• Maximum age: 62 years
• Age will be checked as on 01 May 2026.
• Retired candidates or candidates who resigned earlier may apply if they have adequate banking experience.

Salary

• Minimum monthly pay compensation: Rs. 83,000 per month
• The bank management may decide a higher pay amount based on your qualification and experience.
• Travelling expenses, halting allowance, and hotel stay eligibility for official outstation duty will apply as per MSC Bank T.A.D.A. rules.
• Leave benefits: The notice mentions 12 days Casual Leave and 15 days Privilege Leave in a calendar year with required approval.
• PF, gratuity, pension, and regular employee benefits are not applicable because this is a contract engagement.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

MSC Bank will select candidates through screening and interview. The process is simple but experience-heavy:
